Digital operational resilience for the financial sector
We help you comply with Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 (DORA) end to end: maturity assessment, ICT risk management, resilience testing and oversight of technology providers. No fluff — a realistic, prioritised plan.

DORA is already mandatory across the EU
Since 17 January 2025, DORA applies across the European Union. It is a directly applicable regulation —no national transposition needed— requiring financial entities and their technology providers to be able to withstand, respond to and recover from any ICT-related incident without jeopardising the stability of the system.
Our DORA consulting turns that regulatory framework into an executable project: we identify your gaps, prioritise measures by risk and impact, and support you until digital operational resilience is part of your day-to-day operations.
Who must comply with DORA?
Financial entities
Banks, insurers, asset managers, investment firms, payment and e-money institutions.
ICT providers
Software, cloud, support or data for a financial entity: DORA reaches you through the contractual chain.
Fintech and crypto-assets
Fintech, crypto-asset service providers and new digital players in the financial system.
Critical providers
ICT providers designated as critical come under direct oversight by the European authorities.
If you operate in —or serve— the financial ecosystem, DORA applies to you.
The four pillars of DORA
ICT risk management
Governance framework, identification of assets and risks, controls and direct accountability of the management body.
Incident reporting
Classification and reporting of major ICT-related incidents to the competent authorities within defined deadlines.
Resilience testing
A programme of periodic testing and, for larger entities, threat-led penetration testing (TLPT).
ICT third-party risk
Management and monitoring of technology providers, register of contracts and oversight of critical providers.
How we help you comply with DORA
We structure the project in clear phases, each backed by a specialised Auditech service:
Maturity assessment
A gap analysis against DORA requirements and a prioritised action map. The honest starting point for the whole project.
ICT risk management
We define the governance framework, policies and controls, with continuous vulnerability detection at the core.
Resilience testing
We run advanced penetration testing and exercises aligned with the TLPT approach DORA requires.
24/7 detection and response
With our managed SOC (MDR) you detect and report incidents within regulatory deadlines.
Third-party risk
We review contracts and technology dependencies and build the ICT provider register the regulation requires.
Direction and governance
A CISO as a Service orchestrates the programme and answers to management, auditors and supervisors.
DORA and NIS2: how they fit together
DORA is the sector-specific rule (lex specialis) for financial services and prevails over NIS2 where it applies, but the two coexist. If your organisation is subject to both, a single security governance programme avoids duplicated effort: the controls largely overlap and you advance on both fronts at once.
Why Auditech
We are a cybersecurity firm focused on outcomes, not shelf-ware reports. We combine offensive technical capability (real auditing of your defences) with a compliance view, so your DORA adaptation is solid before a supervisor and before an attacker. You can consult the framework in the official text of Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 on EUR-Lex.
Frequently asked questions about DORA
When did DORA become mandatory?
DORA has applied since 17 January 2025 in every EU member state. As a regulation, it is directly binding with no need for national transposition.
Does DORA replace NIS2?
No. DORA is specific to the financial sector and prevails over NIS2 within its scope, but both coexist. Many entities must consider both.
I am a technology provider — does DORA affect me?
Yes, through the contractual requirements of your financial clients. Providers deemed critical also come under direct oversight by the European authorities.
How long does DORA adaptation take?
It depends on your starting point. An initial assessment lets you estimate the real effort and prioritise the most urgent measures to reduce risk sooner.
